To waves of grateful, poor gritty immigrants,

From the wide world, each desperate for work;
So many now: all stacked and crammed together...

Tourists come, too - for shows, subways, shopping;

And to photograph our refurbished harbor Lady Liberty:
A high-security target, still lifting high her Lamp.....
