Loki  Laughed

Copyright K. Kozak, 2008.

===

Loki, the Norse god of mischief --
     Kept getting into serious trouble...
He started simply, with teenaged pranks,
     But his lack of moral character devdeloped.
He married three times, each one worse.
     Eventually, the outraged.gods lost patience,
Sentencing him to suffer eternal torment:
     Bound to rocks, venom dripping in his face...

Loki, the shape-shifter, lied and laughed --
     A malicious, capricious mythic sociopath,
Waiting in agony, to lead the forces of darkness
     Against the gods, at the battle of Ragnarok.

Sometimes, bad behavior and hate escalate,
Until nothing else matters, but Good vs. Evil....
